Jean Tinguely
Jean Tinguely was a Swiss sculptor best known for his kinetic art sculptural machines. His work make an innuendo of the phenomenon of blind overproduction in civilized industrial society. He was born in Fribourg and grew up in Basel. He moved to France with his wife in 1952.
In 1954, his first exhibition was held in Galerie Arnaud. In 1955, he worked in an exhibition called Le Mouvement with Duchamp and Calder. One of his most famous work is called Homage to New York. It was created in 1960 when he accepted an invitation from the museum of modern art in New York.
This picture remind me of Howl's Moving Castle.
