This video is really powerful.
It taught me a lot of important concept of 3D art. Daniel talked about how he get his idea, about his art materials, the color, texture, shape, and etc.. He live his life as an artwork. He is being himself. In my opinion, he is an artist who truly do art.
It's hard to be who you really are, he Daniel did it.

Jean Tinguely
Jean Tinguely was a Swiss sculptor best known for his kinetic art sculptural machines. His work make an innuendo of the phenomenon of blind overproduction in civilized industrial society. He was born in Fribourg and grew up in Basel. He moved to France with his wife in 1952.
In 1954, his first exhibition was held in Galerie Arnaud. In 1955, he worked in an exhibition called Le Mouvement with Duchamp and Calder. One of his most famous work is called Homage to New York. It was created in 1960 when he accepted an invitation from the museum of modern art in New York.
This picture remind me of Howl's Moving Castle.

COLUMNS
There were three types of columns to support their buildings: Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian.
Doric was the earliest in those three types. It doesn't have base. It is really thick and majestic. Columns body have 20 grooves. There was no decoration on the top. Since it's strong, it has the male character on it.
The character of Ionic is the use of volutes. It's slender and it has beautiful shape. It has 24 grooves and a pair of downward scrolls at the head. It is known as the female columns.
The Corinthian order is the last developed of the three styles. It is more slender than the Ionic column, with a stigma decorated with Acanthus. The Corinthian is the most ornate of the orders.
